Have you ever struggled with putting babes in bulky coats only to arrive at your destination two minutes later, remove the offending coat and then question the whole logic of the experience? Flash points for frustration tend to be transport: getting to cars, buses and trains then being immediately too hot when you get into your seat? That is why I made a 'Rockin Hood' for my own daughter. For the next year it was the most useful bit of kit we had. You can slip is on and off really quickly, and it doubles as a blanket.
