We all have our stories - these are what remind us why we put up with the sleepless nights, tantrums, and sometimes tricky adolescent years.

Some of the stories that have made us laugh have been unexpected, such as the babe who refuses point blank to eat unless his Mum sings Old MacDonald. Another story that kept us amused was about the father in a supermarket checkout queue negotiating with a four-year-old who wanted chocolate. In prim tones the child informed his Daddy, 'Unless you stop being silly I won't let you have any more wine.' Great entertainment for the rest of the queue!

One occasion that made me laugh was when my daughter was racing around being indignant. When I told her she had won, she replied, 'No, silly Mummy, I'm two!'

Keira of Mamascarf recounts:
The funniest thing my son did was pointed at a picture of Tony Soprano in a magazine and said 'Daddy'. He looks nothing like him!

Heather Stowell our amazing jeweller tells:
My oldest son piled all the toys into his younger brother's cot, right to the top, accompanied by lots of giggles.
