If you're starting out in business, it's easy to feel isolated. However, there are loads of ways to network, particularly for Mumpreneurs.

Women Unlimited has a wide range of resources for Women Entrepreneurs. The site is certainly worth a browse and it has a great list of links.


Giant Potential is a good site for 'connecting woman in business'. It is a 'Ning' networking site where you can chat, make friends and join groups.

Webmums is another 'Ning' forum that is even more focused on the WAHM (Work at Home Mums). It seems to be currently in transition and will soon cast adrift from Ning to its new home at www.webmums.com

There is also Mumsclub which provides encouragement, support and all the business tools that a Mum needs to build her own business from home while juggling family needs. There are some interesting articles that make this site really worth a browse.



Mums are fantastically well networked, the largest Mums network being Mumsnet , followed by Netmums (which also has great regional sites) . There are also some lovely smaller networks, such as Mums like You which aims to be the friendliest, and Cafe Bebe which is more of a personal network run by an inspiring lady.
